Superstar Limo was a dark ride attraction at Hollywood Pictures Backlot at Disney’s California Adventure. It opened February 8, 2001 and closed January 11, 2002. This attraction was truly a product of its time. And yet, those tacky cliches and overwhelming blacklight-lit set pieces still seem to hold a place in all of our hearts. Whether you're traipsing through a mudslide-laden malibu or a live movie set with singing chickens, there's something spicy to catch your eye at every corner. Long live DCA 1.0!

This instrumental background music loop is actually a pretty interesting compilation of pieces. It's a unique mix of leisurely strings and fast-paced samba serving as the perfect kitsch music for an LAX of early-aughts Hollywood lore. It's the last "new" loop to include Ole Georg's line of production music, known as Capitol Records' Media Music. All tracks in the loop except one are from this line, and most were re-released in the 80s-90s on the OGM CD line. You might even recognize a few tracks from the Disneyland Peoplemover and the WEDway!

This loop was faithfully reconstructed based on a circulating source track of the original attraction queue music loop. The track can be heard on WTTM CVS SS48 - "Cheesy Awesome - The Superstar Limo Background Music Loop”. The majority of tracks in this reconstruction are lossless, stereo versions released on the OGM CDs, giving this reconstruction a leg up from the primarily mono circulating source track. As always, tracks were edited to recreate the original loop as faithfully as possible. The tracklist was compiled by SoCalRyan, SSrustworthy, and bryan29 on MouseBits and the Library Music Themes forums.
