This is the first video in a series of five analyzing LEGO's Hidden Side series. Hidden Side was based around blending physical and digital play through Augmented Reality, qualifying it as a Toys to Life product. To break that down, this first installment is dedicated to explaining the history of TtL in order to provide its context.

Hidden Side is clearly dedicated to truly innovative play design. The critique in this video is never intended to belittle the labor involved, but always intended to offer constructive feedback. With so many teams, platforms, and production involved in such products, this video humbly acknowledges that many aired grievances were probably close to being resolved, if only scheduling allowed. This critique is made to triage such incidents in future projects, Lego or otherwise.
