The Election Commission of India is set to hold a press briefing in New Delhi where Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar will announce the schedule for Assembly elections in poll-bound states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and West Bengal, along with the Union Territory of Puducherry. Polling is expected to take place in April as the current Assembly terms end between May and June.
