Not all laser vision correction surgeries are created equal. Some are done with a blade or older Femtosecond lasers (intralase). Some are done using older lasers (VISX) that treat a small central portion of the cornea only. Not in our office!
We use a brand new Ziemer Z8 laser to create 9.5 mm flaps on the cornea without using any blades.
We use a brand new Alegretto EX 500 laser to treat the cornea from edge to edge for excellent quality vision using contoura Technology!
This combination will provide you with even better than 2020 vision with no haloes at nights. Using this technology, we can treat up to -10° of near-sightedness, -6.5° of stigmatism, and up to +6° of farsightedness!
