The Sonny Downs Quartet presents the first in series of videos exploring the electroacoustic potential.
The 200e is being triggered by a Persian tanbour. The synthesizer has been tuned to the tanbour. When a strong enough note is played, the 251e sees this as a pulse, and advances the sequencer. The timing is extremely sensitive.
