Recipe for 1 large serving (or 2 regular/small servings):
Spaghetti or your fave pasta (2 regular/small sized portions)
4-5 thin slices of deli-ham (honey baked ham, bacon or sausage also works)
3-5tbs tomato ketchup (in Japan, they use a mixture of Kagome and Simizu’s/Shimizuya ketchup)
1tbs tomato-paste
1 clove of garlic, thin-sliced or minced
1/4 onion, sliced
1/4-1/3 green bell pepper, sliced
3-4 button mushrooms, sliced
1-2tbs butter
Olive oil, for cooking and/or finishing
Salt-N-Pepa
Reserved pasta water, for making sauce
Japanese chili-oil (La-Yu, rayu, etc.)
Parmesan cheese, sprinkling on top
