Modelled on Dubai's iconic City Walk — a 10-million-square-foot urban district developed by Meraas — the Abuja project aims to deliver luxury residences, Grade-A office towers, hospitals, universities, entertainment venues and a grand pedestrian boulevard on land that sat undeveloped for over two decades.

The FCT Administration signed a development agreement with MAG International Links Ltd in July 2025, with an aggressive timeline requiring foundations within one month and first-phase delivery by May 2026. FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has pledged to personally oversee the project and warned that failure to meet milestones will result in land revocation.
