In this episode I go over some serious CSS selector mistakes that I made on this very day!
The goal was to select all but the first and last children. We go from this:
& *›:not(:first-child), & *›:not(:last-child)
to this:
› *:not(:first-child):not(:last-child)
Here's why:
& was not needed
*› were in the wrong order
With the leading `*`, you're selecting any direct descendants of any children of the parent
a space was needed between these › *
and since I am doing a , the first selector is including the last and the last selector including the first, so I might as well just say *
