Soul Link Nuzlocke Challenge Rules!

1- Any of MY Pokémon that faint are considered "dead," and must be stored in a specified PC box for "dead" Pokémon.

2- I can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. Feel free to re-encounter should yours flee. If I get a Pokémon on a route you need to pair it with something after all :) (Recommended to increase catch rate modifier to avoid this.)

3- You must also nickname all of your Pokémon, for the sake of forming "stronger emotional bonds." LEAVE A COMMENT AND I MIGHT NAME A MON AFTER YOU.

4- In a new area, the first encounters for both YOU and I, will be "linked" together until death. YOU will ALWAYS be the SECOND encounter for obvious reasons.

5- If I place Pokémon in the PC, it's Soul Link partner must be placed in the PC as well. This excludes temporary situations like me needing a Pokémon to fly somewhere or surf.

6- If one of MY Pokémon dies it's Soul Link partner (YOURS) is considered dead as well.

7- If I player fail to capture MY first encounter in an area, the second player (YOU) must forfeit their encounter in their corresponding area.

Recommended ways to play along:

EASY:
You may share typings on your own team (convenience)
If you lose a pokemon you can revive it
Your encounter does not have to be a different gender (idek if this makes it easier tbh, less time consuming i guess)

HARDER:
If you lose a pokemon you must go to the route you caught that and get another encounter there. Put the dead pokemon into a separate death box and list it as a "Personal Death"
If I am adding a pokemon to my team and your pokemon linked to MY new one is the same type as another mon already on your team you must get a re-encounter to make a suitable pair. This can be ignored in the case of static encounters.
Across both players parties, primary typings may not be repeated. This can be ignored in the case of static encounters.
All Soul Link pairs must consist of one male and one female Pokémon. You will re-encounter your first encounter in a new area, until an acceptable pair can be formed. This can be ignored in the case of static encounters.
