End-To-End Encryption Released in Zoom Software | Cyber Protection Operation Center News

Описание: In the first of a four-step process to improve security, Zoom is adding end-to-end encryption to its video conferencing service, available to both free and paid users.
Zoom received high levels of scrutiny in the first half of 2020, after it was discovered that malicious actors could join calls without authorization, and could use the service to spread malware in a number of ways.
Zoom is already using 256 bit GCM encryption on its app clients, however, data in transit has been unencrypted until now. With this update, encrypted meetings will display a green shield icon with a padlock in the middle to alert users to the fact that the meeting is secure.

Acronis Cyber Protect uses patch management to keeps applications like Zoom up to date, while also using Zoom Protection to block malicious activity within Zoom meetings and stop the spread of malware.
