Hankook iON evo AS Tire Review After 31k mi/50k km

Описание: A review of the Hankook iON evo AS tires on my 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD after 31k mi/50k km of usage. I'm truly blown away by these tires! They're extremely quiet, incredibly efficient, and they're wearing unbelievably slowly.

The efficiency has really been game-changing for me when traveling across North America. There have been several times when traveling through remote areas where the incredible efficiency of these tires allowed me to make it to a charger, even with just 1-2% SoC. I've probably cycled this car from 100-3% SoC at least 50 times by now when traveling through remote regions, so every percent counts, and these tires have really made all the difference for me. Even on 10k mi/16k km road trips, I regularly get under 200 Wh/mi (124 Wh/km) which is absolutely incredible. And on rural roads with lower speed limits, I can easily get 150-160 Wh/mi (93-99 Wh/km). I have never seen numbers like this out of a production EV of any kind, and these tires are definitely a big part of that.

At this rate, I'm on track to get well over 150k mi/241k km out of these tires, which is incredible to me. Granted I almost exclusively do highway driving, but I've also done dozens of hours of washboard roads with sharp rocks, which is very hard on tires. I have never seen tires wear this slowly before, and I'm truly blown away by it. I purchased them when my car had 95k mi/153k km on the odometer, and now it has 126k mi/203k km on the odometer. My goal is to keep running these tires until the car has at least 250k mi/402k km on the odometer, which shouldn't take very long at this rate!

So overall, these tires completely fulfill my three biggest criteria: noise, efficiency, and longevity. I recommend them to every EV owner I chat with while charging, and everyone is sold once they see the almost non-existent wear, as well as the efficiency numbers. I met a very high-mileage Tesla driver at a Supercharger who does well over 150k mi/241k km per year, and he ordered these tires on the spot after being disappointed in the longevity of the OE Tesla tires. I purchased these tires after seeing an instrumented test which showed them leading in efficiency by a large margin compared to their competitors, so now I'm trying to spread the word after my overwhelmingly positive experience with them.
