TRUE STORY
Aeroflot Flight 593 was a Moscow-to-Hong Kong flight that tragically crashed on March 23, 1994, in Russia's Kemerovo Oblast. The Airbus A310-304, carrying 75 people, was on a routine journey when disaster struck.
The relief captain, Yaroslav Kudrinsky, brought his two children, Eldar and Yana, into the cockpit. While Eldar was at the controls, he inadvertently disengaged the autopilot, causing the plane to bank sharply. The pilots struggled to regain control, but it was too late.
The plane crashed into the Kuznetsk Alatau mountain range, killing everyone on board. The incident was a devastating loss of life, and the investigation emphasized the importance of cockpit discipline and safety protocols. The tragedy serves as a reminder of the critical importance of aviation safety and responsible flight operations.
