Desert Jet Center recently welcomed Angel Flight West (AFW) volunteer pilots Jim and Ray as they flew to our FBO at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM) in Thermal, California.
The pilots regularly fly AFW blood missions to transport lifesaving blood supplies received from the LifeStream Blood Bank. Desert Jet Center supports the missions flown on behalf of AFW to the greater Palm Springs area and Coachella Valley by waiving all ramp fees and significantly reducing fuel cost at its FBO in KTRM to help pilots offset the cost of the flight. Desert Jet Center helps AFW and its group of volunteer pilots give the gift of flight to more people in need.
