It was so much fun sharing this story with the tamariki and whanau at Wild Dunedin's Wild ER event, with Jordana and the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital team, at the Otago Museum recently, that I just had to share it when I got home.
I wrote this story in 1999 and my friend Errol McLeary drew the pictures. Maybe you have an old shoe box that you can make a bed in for your soft toy? Or maybe you have some fabric you can cut up to make bandages to bandage up any soft toy "patients" with aches and pains?
That's what we did at the Otago Museum with our soft toys. It was heaps of fun!
