My first visit to Jackson, MS was all about the food, and it did not disappoint! At @sugarsplacems, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a homemade biscuit, plus some amazing chicken and waffles with grits. @nissancafebynickwallace wowed me with their Mississippi gumbo and shrimp 'n' grits. Over at @stampssuperburgers, I devoured hot lemon pepper wings, a Stamps burger, and fresh-cut fries. @bigappleinn brought the heat with pig ears( i was too scared to eat this. next time), a hot sausage sandwich, and tamales. @soulecoffeejxn treated me to key lime pie cake, their signature blue lemonade, and a white chocolate strawberry mocha. And @sambouafricankitchen blew me away with coconut shrimp, jollof chicken and rice, plantains, and cabbage. Jackson, your food scene is absolutely fire! #BlackPeopleEats
