The great stage play from London to Broadway to the big screen then here to radio with many of the same actors. Suspense has turned this into a really good audio drama, produced by ROBERT MONTGOMERY who co-stars in this story with the popular actress DAME MAY WHITTY playing the same roles as in the film. The one hour Suspense episodes weren't profitable for CBS, so after about 2 dozen broadcasts they returned to the half hour format. The hour long episodes were aired during the first few months of 1948. Like the vast majority of my uploads, the audio has been digitally restored.
