Two weeks before Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz's musical ''Be More Chill'' began performances at the Pershing Square Signature Center, the production invited the Broadway press corps to an open rehearsal where the company presented several musical numbers.
But what is the rehearsal process really like? Early on in the process, TheaterMania got the inside scoop for our ongoing series, ''Be More Chill: The Upgrade''. In Episode 2, titled "I Love Play Rehearsal," director Stephen Brackett and Chase Brock show us how they create scenes and numbers from the ground up, specifically focusing on the opening of Acts 1 and 2.
