Dal-Baati-Churma is a famous Rajasthani(Indian) main course dish. This is also very rich in nutrients reason been it is prepared using 5 different types of pulses.

INGREDIENTS FOR DAL
*Toor daal - 1/4th cup
*Chana daal - 1/4th cup
*Masoor daal - 1/4th cup
*Moong daal - 1/4th cup
*Urad daal -1/4th cup
*Cooking oil
*Salt - according to taste
*Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
*Hing - 1/2 teaspoon
*Red chilli(whole) - 2
*Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
*Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
*Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
*Onions - 1 large
*Tomatoes - 1 large
*Green chillies - 2
*Ghee - 1 tablespoon
*Coriander leaves - for garnishing

RECIPE - DAL
*Take 1/4th cup of toor, chana, masoor, moong and urad dal of each in a bowl and soak it for 10 minutes
*Pressure cook till 4 whistle
*Take a kadhai and add 2 tablespoon of cooking oil
*Now add 1 teaspoon jeera seeds, 1/2 teaspoon hing and 2 whole red chilli and saute it
*Add onions and green chilli and saute till its soft
*Now add tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes
*Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder and 1 teaspoon of garam masala and cook for 2-3 minutes
*Add boiled dal to the masala and add water to adjust consistency as per taste
*Cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame
*Add 1 tablespoon ghee and coriander leaves for garnishing.


INGREDIENTS FOR BAATI
*Wheat flour - 1.5 cup
*Sooji(rava) - 1/2 cup
*Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
*Ajwain - 1/2 teaspoon
*Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
*Ghee - 2 tablespoon

RECIPE - BAATI
*Take 1 and 1/2 cup of wheat flour, 1/2 cup sooji(rava), 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ajwain and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder in a bowl and mix it well
*Now add water gradually to make a dough
*Rest the dough for 15-20 minutes
*Now prepare baati using appe pan or u can bake it or deep fry it
*Using appe pan make small baatis and put it in appe pan
*Cover and cook for 3 minutes on each sides
*Apply ghee using brush on each sides for crunchiness
*Serve hot


INGREDIENTS FOR CHURMA
*Baked baati - 4
*Powder Sugar - according to taste
*Ghee - 3-4 tablespoon
*Dry fruits as per availability

RECIPE - CHURMA
*Make a coarse powder of baati in a mixer grinder
*Take a pan and add 2 tablespoon of ghee to it
*Roast all the dry fruits
*Now add baati powder to pan and roast it for 5 minutes
*Switch off the flame
*Now add 4 tablespoon of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoon of ghee to it and mix well
*Delicious and healthy churma is ready to serve
