What Contributes to Processing Times? (IRCC Info) 📝
IRCC’s processing time depends on several factors:
• Number of Applications in the Inventory 📈
• Staff Availability for Processing Applications 👩‍💼👨‍💼
• Volume of New Applications Received 📥

According to IRCC:
“This processing time is how long we expect it will take us to process an application if we receive it today.” 🗓️

When Does Processing Time Start? ⏰
Your processing time officially begins when IRCC receives your complete application and ends when they make a decision. Here’s how it works:
• By mail: When the application arrives at the mailroom. 📬
• Online or in-person: When you submit the application. 💻📝

⛔ Processing time does not include the time spent in the pool; it starts only from when IRCC receives your complete PR application with all forms and documents.

Important: Incomplete applications may face delays or be returned, which will extend your timeline further. ⚠️
