Maale Levona means "Ascent of Frankincense" It is believed that frankincense grew here in ancient days which was used in the incense for the Mishkan (tabernacle) which was located in nearby Shilo. Today we have returned to our land and the sweet fragrance of Ma'ale Levona radiates throughout Binyamin.
