Crime Intelligence boss, Dumisani Khumalo, is appearing in the Pretoria Magistrates' Court today.
This after the recusal of the Acting Chief Magistrate Vusi Mahlangu.
KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi implicated Mahlangu in wrong doing when he alleged that some officers in the judiciary were colluding with criminals.
Khumalo and other senior officials were arrested in June.
They face charges related to the alleged irregular appointment of Dineo Mokwele to a senior post in Crime Intelligence, allegedly without proper vetting.
Khumalo has approached the court to have his bail conditions relaxed after an internal probe cleared him.
