The independent Electoral Commission has nominated Retired Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye as a certified presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2016 polls.
This is the fourth time Dr. Besigye has been presented before an electoral body he has challenged as partisan.
Shortly after his nomination, Dr Besigye while addressing the press cast doubt on the credibility of the Electoral Commission adding that the first phase of his campaign strategy will be to ensure that Ugandans get back their power.
