Описание: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers debuted on August 28, 1993, as a Fox Kids series that ingeniously repurposed footage from Japan's Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (the 16th season of Toei's Super Sentai franchise). Produced by Saban Entertainment, its second and third seasons later incorporated material from Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.

The show launched a 1990s cultural phenomenon, generating $1 billion in merchandise sales by 1995. After three seasons, it concluded with the 1996 miniseries Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, though the overarching storyline continued through Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (season seven). Subsequent series featured self-contained plots within the same universe, but with minimal narrative ties to the original—except for occasional returning characters like Jason David Frank's Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

The franchise spawned two feature films: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995), a box office hit despite mixed reviews, and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997). A 2017 theatrical reboot underperformed financially, and following Hasbro's 2018 acquisition of the franchise, another reboot is currently in development.

The series' 30th anniversary was celebrated with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, a Netflix special premiering April 19, 2023, featuring original cast members David Yost, Walter Emanuel Jones, Steve Cardenas, Johnny Yong Bosch, Karan Ashley, Catherine Sutherland, Barbara Goodson, and Richard Steven Horvitz, alongside Charlie Kersh as Trini Kwan's daughter, Minh.
