Curtis Mathes Tronics (Samsung) 19" CRT TV

Описание: This TV was just retired in October. It was bought k-Mart during some black Friday sale. It even says "K-MART" on the remote control PCB. It was described to me as "early 1990s" by the original owner, but it's from 1999. Rather disappointing. It is what it is. At least it came with the original remote.

There's a bit of an oddity when it comes to the A48KRD82X picture tube in this, compared to the Samsung TXD1972. This set has a Samsung tube made in Brazil, while the Samsung TXD1972's A48KRD82X tube was made in Mexico. I was going to put originally, that i guess Samsung didn't make 19" picture tubes in Mexico, when they actually did. It's good to do a bit of research before typing up a description.

There's a "real" Curtis Mathes around here, a console stereo from 1963. If i had a good place to store it, i'd buy it. The guy selling it says he recalls his grandfather mentioning a bad tube or something. Speaking of that, i bought a "new" 6X5 GT for the Zenith radio/ turntable combination. It should be here Saturday.
