Joe Lonsdale, the white supremacist co-founder of a CIA-backed surveillance tech company with direct involvement in the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has just “invested” $11.75 million in a Nigerian defense tech startup — and to say that this is not good news for Nigeria would be the understatement of the century.
Founded in 2003 by full-throated Zionists Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, Lonsdale and others, Palantir has been an integral part of western military intelligence architecture ever since – and has profited handsomely from the West's global reign of terror. Terra Industries (@terrahaptix), the Nigerian startup Lonsdale’s just “invested” in, was founded in 2024, and by its own mission statement, exists to “protect Africa's critical infrastructure with autonomy”.
So why have its founders effectively just reserved a seat on their board of directors for Africa’s single greatest enemy?
And what does this decision – which borders on treason or insanity – mean for the future of Africa’s budding military industrial complex?
