The Rise and Fall of Sentinels

Описание: Sentinels failed to make Champions for the second year running, and might be on the verge of going out of business. Which is a crazy thing to think about, because it feels like just yesterday that SEN were the best team in the world. Winning tournaments, with the biggest brand and the most fans.
So when you look at their recent tournament results, you might be wondering: how did Sentinels fall off so quickly?

On April the 28th 2020, Sentinels officially expanded into Valorant. They announced a star studded roster with former professionals in counter strike, Apex legends and overwatch. 2019 Overwatch League MVP Sinatraa headlined the roster, and helped guide them to victory in multiple Online tournaments, including a first place finish in stage 1 of VCT. SEN were in the drivers seat to win Masters 1.

However, just before the tournament started, disaster struck. The community was shocked to hear that Sinatraa had been suspended from competition, and despite technically now being eligible to compete once again, no organisation seems willing to facilitate this return, and he hasn’t competed outside of a cameo appearance in the 2023 Challengers qualifiers.
Sentinels now had a giant hole in their roster, which they were desperately trying to fill with short notice. But then, down from the heavens, came Tenz.
