The Phoenix State is an English Documentary based on the floods that hit the southern state of Kerala in the year of 2018. This journey unravels a story of how the excess downpour brought a state to it's knees, submerged it and how it's people out of their sheer will power and undying spirit resurrected themselves. By standing their ground in the face of unprecedented danger, the state rose up from the ashes like a Phoenix.
Phoenix State was officially selected for IDSFFK 2019 and various other documentary festivals.
