The J. League 1994 Arcade

Описание: The game controls are simpley you a joystick and three button, 1 for shooting and two pass buttons at your disposal.
Two automatic pass cursors indicate the players you may attempt to pass the ball to.
Special joystick motions enable lifting the ball up for volley and curve shots.
The major difference between the other two versions of the game is that this one has a fully licensed league,including players, that is the J.League 1994.
But that not the only thing that got changed, the woman journalist between game is absent, instead we get a newspaper with all the matches scores written in it.
The matches itself are not random anymore,but now you have to pick a team that you wanna beat,without any order, the goal is to beat enough teams to get enought points and end first place in the whole j.league to win.
The following 12 clubs participated in J.League during 1994 season. Of these clubs, Bellmare Hiratsuka, and Júblio Iwata were newly promoted from Japan Football League (former) and they are all playble in this game:

We can say the gameplay is a primitive version of Virtua Striker, players control one football player and the rest of the team is controlled by the AI,when a player some gets the ball it becomes controllable.
You can do volleys e overheads just like VS and you have to charge power for your shots,a good angle with a precise power charge can lead to guaranteed goals goals or incredibile long shots goals.
The game camera is vertical and upfield, it' moves following only the soccer ball, the arrows in the corners of the screen indicate which side teams attacks.
Players switch sides at half time, so both players get to attack in both directions.
You have 2 soccer balls as lifes,you lose one in the first half time if the opposing team has scored a goal before you, if you draw a match you also lose one ball (before choosing V-Goal or PK) and you are forced to lose one after every match, even if you win.
So regardlesss of what happens in the game you are gona lose both lifes.
The best scenario is losing them both in two complete matches and then continue, but it pretty hard, the game rank gets harder the more points you collect and more teams you beat.
Needless to say, that if you don't continue the game ends immediately.

The game's fake 3D graphics were drawn entirely by hand,so it is sprite-based and players pursue the ball on a scaled pitch.

The game is not only versus com, but it also supports 2 players competitive versus.
