Petrol Price Drops by ₦95 in Abuja After NNPCL Reacts to Dangote Refinery Price Cut.
Petrol prices in Nigeria have taken a surprising turn as the NNPCL reduces the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit by ₦95 per litre following a gantry price cut by the Dangote Refinery.
Across Abuja, several filling stations have already adjusted their prices, with petrol now selling around ₦1,165 per litre, down from ₦1,260 just a day earlier. Other marketers such as NIPCO, AP, and AA Rano have also begun adjusting their pump prices as the downstream market reacts.
But the big question remains:
Will this reduction bring real relief to Nigerians facing rising transportation and food costs?
On this episode of Trends on LJE News, host Omotola Adeleke sits with Bar Memeh, Shedrach, and Chidi to break down:
Why petrol prices suddenly dropped
The influence of Dangote Refinery on the fuel market
What it means for the Nigerian economy and consumers
Whether prices could rise again soon
