Join us for the first part of our two-part premiere episode, where host Ms. Dianne Mapili sits down with the Philippine Consul General to Melbourne, The Honourable Jesus “Gary” S. Domingo, for an engaging conversation on law, diplomacy, and the Filipino-Australian community 🇵🇭🇦🇺

In this first part episode, Consul General Domingo shares his journey as the current Philippine Consul General to Melbourne, and the exciting initiatives in multiple cultural, economic, and community fronts led by the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) Melbourne as this year marks the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Philippine-Australian diplomatic relations, and the 2026 Philippine Chairmanship of the eleven-nation member bloc, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). 

Consul General Domingo also highlights the assistance offered by the PCG Melbourne on some of the pressing legal issues within the Filipino Australian community, such as international student assistance and immigration, and shares potential channels for FALAW’s role and collaboration for the community. ⚖️

This conversation emphasises cross-border advocacy, community impact, and the role of legal and diplomatic leadership in strengthening ties beyond borders. 🤝🌏
