In the seventh episode of our 2023 European Cruise we arrive on the continent of Africa, making two stops in Morocco: Agadir & Casablanca. We experience the real Morocco as we explore the cities of Taroudant, Azemmour and El Jadida. We experience a drive through the back roads of Morocco, and walk through numerous souks or markets. We also explore walled cities and the Portuguese fortress of Mazagan. These towns are a "must-see" when paying a visit to Morocco. We also visit the third largest mosque in the world, the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. This waterfront mosque sports the tallest minaret in the world.
We are also a little concerned that our tour guide was about to run afoul of the law and get arrested. Add all that with the fact that we see abundant wildlife as well, and it makes for a very entertaining visit. We feel we have seen the best places in Morocco.
