Описание: Hi guys! This videos discusses how to make an unregulated AC to DC power supply and how to analyze the operation of each blocks composing it. This power supply uses half wave and full wave/bridge rectifier with the use of rectifier diodes. Basically the ac voltage will come from the 220 rms voltage in our home outlet and it will be stepped down using a transformer depending on the required voltage we need. Then this stepped down rms voltage will go to the rectifier stage to create pulsating DC. This pulsating DC is then filtered by a capacitor to produce a smoother DC voltage which will then be used by the load.
