LCD monitor displaying serial data from USART serial line.
MCU: ATmega 8 running at 8000000Hz
LCD: ebay cheapest (and slowest) ST7920, parallel 8-bit connection
Three LED lights for indication:
green - data received
yellow - data buffer 75% full
red - buffer full, data lost
I build this for debugging my AVR programs.
This LCD is pretty slow, not suitable for fast refreshing of images. Not issue in this case.
