(18 Jun 2016) Hundreds of friends and fans took part in a memorial service for "The Voice" singer Christina Grimmie on Friday, a day after a private funeral.
Inside the church, a large picture of her was displayed on an easel and her music was playing as people filed past to pay their respects.
The 22-year-old was shot to death last week as she signed autographs after a show in Orlando, Florida.
Her brother Marcus, who had tackled her killer after she was shot, said "her arms were open (...) and that is how she treated everyone she knew, her arms were open at all times".
Her mother Tina Grimmie said she just wanted her "to come home".
Authorities said Grimmie was gunned down by Kevin Loibl on the night of 10 June.
Her assailant fatally shot himself.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
Grimmie was a YouTube star who was widely known from her appearances on NBC's "The Voice" two years ago.
