Today I put the Minelab Manticore head to head against the brand new Nokta Legend 2 (L2) in real beach conditions.
No lab tests. No air tests.
Saltwater. Wet sand. Targets in the wild.
I hunted the shoreline, worked the wet slope, and got in the water to see which machine handles:
• Salt balance
• Stability in surf
• Target separation
• Depth
• Iron falsing
• Real world recovery speed
The Legend 2 has some serious hype behind it but does it actually outperform the Manticore where it matters most?
This isn’t about brand loyalty.
It’s about results.
Let’s see which detector earns a permanent spot in my beach setup.
