AAP MP Sanjay Singh Alleges 'Modi-Gyanesh Nexus,' Demands Murder Case Against Election Commissioner over SIR Deaths

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh severely criticized the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the Central Government in Prayagraj today (November 30, 2025) over the deaths of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Singh alleged that BLOs are dying due to pressure from officials to complete the revision.
He questioned the UP's "double engine" government: "Why are you determined to take people's lives for elections?" Singh accused the Centre of a "Modi and Gyanesh nexus," and demanded that a murder case be filed against Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar due to the reported deaths and suspensions of thousands of workers in UP.
