but its first appearance was not actually in Dark Souls.
It first showed up all the way back in Demon’s Souls.
By casting a miracle while wearing the Ring of Sincere Prayer, you can perform a pose that looks almost identical to Praise the Sun.
Miyazaki kept the animation in the game even after a higher-up called it “uncool.”
