After meeting Alan Flusser in New York to go through a one-on-one personal consultation and measurements session, the decision was made to venture outside Kirby’s comfort zone with a triple bead chalk stripe navy suit.

This first meeting was followed by a first fitting in Houston. Now watch as Kirby is again joined by Jonathan Sigmon, to go through the final fitting of my first ever pin stripe suit, and hopefully have it delivered.

Kirby is meeting with jonathan Sigmon, a director of Alan Flusser, who took his measurements in New York. Jonathan goes through their process of the first trial of the suit, with any alterations noted.

The suit itself is a dark navy worsted wool triple bead chalk stripe 3 piece suit, which is very outside of my comfort zone. Previously all of my suits are solid colors, and usually leaning towards greys rather than blues.

Author of the menswear classic, "Dressing The Man," Alan Flusser has educated countless men on the rules of classic menswear. We discuss the made-to-measure program as well as go through a personal consultation. At the end, you get to see Alan Flusser's personal recommendations to Kirby for a new outfit!

Alan Flusser Made-to-Measure garments are a reflection of the house style they have developed and refined throughout 30+ years of custom tailoring. they emphasize a soft-styled design – the jacket is shaped, with natural shoulders, high armholes, and light full-canvas construction.

MTM garments are based on a block pattern, individually tailored to the client’s specific measurements and body posture. they hand-sew the garments where it counts the most, and hand-finish the lapels and pockets, and all alterations and buttonholes are finished in their New York City workshop.
