Indian men's hockey team will aim to to end their 36-year wait for a hockey medal today when they play against Ireland in the Rio Olympics 2016. India last won a hockey medal, a gold, in 1980 in Moscow. They have a record 8 golds. India are clubbed in Pool B with defending champions Germany, twice winners and London 2012 silver medalist the Netherlands, Argentina, Canada, besides Ireland.
