The present text describes the adventures of a brave knight who had only one goal - to drive the British out of the country. In the present text, the author has described four persons, they are – Colonel, Lieutenant, Sepoy and Sawar.

कर्नल और लेफ्टिनेंट आपस में वज़ीर अली के कारनामों की बात करते हुए कहते है कि वज़ीर अली ने अंग्रेजों की नाक में दम कर रखा है और उसको देख कर उन्हें रॉबिनहुड की याद आ जाती है।
The colonel and the lieutenant talk among themselves about the exploits of Wazir Ali, saying that Wazir Ali has suffocated the British and seeing him reminds them of Robinhood.

फिर कर्नल लेफ्टिनेंट को सआदत अली यानि वज़ीर अली के चाचा के बारे में बताता है की किस तरह वो वज़ीर अली के पैदा होने से दुखी था और अंग्रेजो का मित्र बन गया था। अवध के सिंहासन पर बने रहने के लिए उसने अंग्रेजो को अपनी आधी दौलत और दस लाख रूपए दिए थे।
The colonel then tells the lieutenant about Saadat Ali i.e. Wazir Ali's uncle, how he was saddened by the birth of Wazir Ali and became a friend of the British. He gave half his wealth and ten lakh rupees to the British to remain on the throne of Awadh.

लेफ्टिनेंट को जब पता चलता है की हिंदुस्तान के बहुत से राजा, बादशाह और नवाब अफगानिस्तान के नवाब को दिल्ली पर हमला करने के लिए आमंत्रित कर रहे हैं तो लेफ्टिनेंट की बातों में हामी भरते हुए कर्नल कहता है, कि अगर ऐसा हुआ तो कंपनी ने जो कुछ हिन्दुस्तान में हासिल किया है वह सब कुछ गवाना पड़ेगा।
When the lieutenant learns that many kings, emperors and nawabs of India are inviting the nawab of Afghanistan to attack Delhi, the colonel agrees to the lieutenant's words, that if this happens, the company will do whatever it takes. Whatever has been achieved in India will have to be lost.
