Описание: This Language Yarn, hosted by our 2025 NSW Languages Week Ambassador, Brooke Boney (Gamilaroi), was held as part of NSW Aboriginal Languages Week 2025. The panel of Language Practitioners, Odee (Gamilaraay/Yuwaalaraay), Marion Packham (Wiradjuri), Corina Norman (Dharug/Dharawal), Raymond Kelly (Dhangatti/Gumbaynnggirr) and Emma Stewart (Bidjigal/Gweagal/Dharug/Gandangara/Dharawal/Yuin) share their diverse perspectives and Community-led revitalisation initiatives taking place across NSW.

The Language Yarns provide an opportunity to reflect on and acknowledge the determination of Elders and Language leaders past, who ensured Aboriginal Languages were not lost despite significant challenges; and share the Community-led innovations taking place across NSW today to ensure Languages continue to be strengthened for future generations.

2025 marks the third year of NSW Aboriginal Languages Week, which commemorates the passing of the Aboriginal Languages Act on 24 October 2017 and is a chance to come together to celebrate and raise awareness of Community-led efforts to revitalise Languages.
