Known for its lavish interiors, especially the renowned Arab Room, the Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace) is a magnificent 19th-century neoclassical structure and national monument located in Porto, Portugal’s historic centre.
Constructed by the city’s Commercial Association on the remains of a former convent, it functioned as the city’s stock exchange and is now used for cultural events and formal functions. It is among Northern Portugal’s most popular monuments.
