Описание: Howzit going guys? Hope you have all had an excellent week. Today's video is geared towards those looking to #jointhemilitary, more specifically the #coastguard . I joined almost 6 years ago and it has been the best decision I have ever made. One huge benefit in joining the #military, is that you will get access to a paid education. Commiting four years to the Coast Guard will allow you to get either a Bachelors or Masters degree completely paid for. I came in with a Bachelors and I received my Master of Business Administration (MBA), completely paid for by the military. The average cost of an MBA today is around $20,000, so having this paid for is a huge benefit.

Another massive benefit is the healthcare. We have a three year old and when he was born, we had a top class hospital with a private room for two days and we did not pay a cent. I've been in an ambulance twice with stays in the hospital and I've never had to pay a anything. Just the medical is a huge benefit. Another benefit for my family and I is the fact that we get to travel and see new places. While this may not be for everyone, if you like to move around and travel, then the military is for you. Now the Coast Guard is nice if you do not want to go foreign and stay Stateside. There are international opportunities, but only if you decide to take them on. The military life can be tricky if you are not looking to move and if you are trying to stay close to family.

While there are downsides, like having to move every 3-4 years, the positives for us, far outweigh them. Another benefit is having access to a VA loan. This gets you your own home with zero down deposit and a low interest rate. Giving preference to military families.
