All right, here we go! Game 7! The Rockets and Suns made it up to Game 7 in real life, well, so did I! Up until Game 6 and now, I have been pulling my punches because I WANTED to get into Game 7, now playtime is over, the Rockets' championship title defense is on the line, and it is time for me to get serious and get the Rockets into the Western Conference Finals so they can face the San Antonio Spurs like they did for real years ago!
Fun fact: This is the Western Conference Semifinal game famous for #17 Mario Elie hitting the game winning 3 point shot and blowing a kiss of death at #35 Joe Kleine who was sitting at the Suns bench in the final seconds of the game's 4th quarter. If Mario Elie missed that shot, the Rockets would have likely lost the game and been eliminated from the Playoffs.
Fun fact #2: In real life, the Suns were so confident that they would beat the Rockets in Game 7 that they were planning their trip to San Antonio before the game started.
Fun fact #3: At the time in 1995, the Houston Rockets became the first team in 13 years that have won a Game 7 in the opponent's home court since the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics in The Garden during the 1982 Playoffs.
