Attack on Titan Cosplay Cape Tutorial - DIY Sewing

Описание: This is a tutorial on how I made the survey corps cape from the anime Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin).

The basic shapes are a full circle and a standard two parts hood.
The cape has some characteristics to consider. The front is shorter than the back and at the front the left and right sides are overlapping.
As always the pattern construction and sewing process are shown in detail. You can always adapt the shown pattern and process to your own liking. E.g. the hood curve might be too big on the back of the head, you can of course make it smaller or change the hood into a three parts hood with a middle stripe.

Materials:
universal poly fabric or cheap and light weight poly fabric non shimmering if possible
lining fabric or the same fabric as outer one
fabric amount: for a fabric width of 150 cm (~59'') and lining = outer I used a length of 6.5 m (~7.1 yd)
buttons, Velcro, snap buttons (whatever you prefer)
survey corps logo (embroided, iron transfer paper, fabric paint, whatever works for you)
