Here we see various trains at Thorneside Railway Station, a small station on the Cleveland Line, 27.8km south of the Brisbane CBD. This station was originally named "Waterloo" when opened in 1889, then was renamed 'Thorneside' in 1917. The station closed in 1960, then reopened in 1982, serving as a temporary terminus of the Cleveland Line.
Thorneside is distinct, in that the direction of trains coming in, and out, of the station is flipped; City and Shorncliffe services will arrive on the easternmost side of the platform, while Cleveland services arrive on the westernmost side of the platform, as you see in the video.
