Structural Foam Molding
Structural foam molding is a low-pressure injection molding process that utilizes a chemical blowing agent or nitrogen gas. Structural foam molding is an extension of the standard injection molding process, but operates under the theory of delivering a ‘short-shot’ into the mold.

Gas-Assist Injection Molding
Gas-Assisted Injection Molding is a process where an inert gas is introduced at pressure, into the polymer melt stream at the end of the polymer injection phase. Preproduction Plastics Inc. offers customers molding options on machines ranging from 100 ton to 1100 ton. Their 45,000sq/ft. facility has 85 employees, running three shifts on eleven molding machines giving them incredible capacity to process orders with fast turnaround times. They constantly monitor our production facility in Real Time® with our IQMS ERP system.

PPI performs secondary operations during and after production to maximize our part processing. Their new mold qualification procedures allow them to ideally test new molds through a
rigorous three step process. PPI completes these steps ensuring exceptional quality and repeatability for all future production runs.
