Jedes Jahr Anfang Juli finden in Oldenburg i.H. die Slawentage im Wallmuseum vor den Toren der
Stadt statt. Sie erinnern an die Siedlung Starigard der Wagrier, einem slawischen Volksstamm. Das
Alltagsleben sowie das Handwerk aus slawischer Zeit werden hier dem Besucher lebendig vor Augen
geführt.
Every year in the beginning of July the Slavic days take place in the open-air museum known as
"Wallmuseum of Oldenburg". They remind of the settlement "Starigard" of the Wagrians, a Slavonic tribe.
The normal course of life and the handcraft of the Slavic time as well are shown the visitors quite plainly.
