Fort Street Walking Tour Victoria BC Canada [4K] March 8th, 2026

Описание: This 4K Walking Tour begins at the intersection of Fort Street and Richmond in Victoria, British Columbia on March 8th, 2026, the first day after the Spring time change. With longer daylight hours returning, it was the perfect opportunity to get out for a longer walk and enjoy the sunshine.

I followed Fort Street toward downtown Victoria, passing through several neighbourhoods as the city slowly transitions from late winter into early spring. Along the way I briefly started heading down Pandora Avenue, but quickly crossed back over to Fort Street after noticing cherry blossom trees already beginning to bloom. The early blossoms were too nice to pass up and made for a great reminder that spring is just around the corner.

The walk continues down Fort Street toward the downtown core, eventually finishing on Wharf Street overlooking Victoria’s Inner Harbour, one of the city’s most iconic waterfront areas.

It was a sunny but windy day, and with the time change now behind us I’m really looking forward to filming more walks with the extra evening daylight in the coming weeks. Expect a lot more walking tours as spring arrives across Southern Vancouver Island.
