Taking part in sports is important for children as it reduces stress and enhances their mood. Sports builds healthy bones and muscles, increases fitness, improves sleep, helps them socialize. It also improves their cooperation skills, boosts self-confidence, and lowers the risk of getting obese.
The enhancement of physical and mental development of children is certainly the most important contribution of sports for children.

Due to its vast reach, unparalleled popularity and foundation of positive values, sport is definitely one of the greatest things man has ever created. It’s also a powerful tool that breaks down all the barriers and helps us feel good about ourselves, both physically and mentally. Sport is quite beneficial for children too.

It was the important time for students when the run for themselves show exposures understood confidence and run in unity.
Different sports were organised in a very unique way. The many races like hundred metre 200 m 400 m 800 m and 1600 m races.
Sports Kabaddi was the main point of attraction in all games .
Relay race in girls and boys badminton and volleyball were also the point of attractions.

S. O. khekra Shri Kailash Chand Sharma was the chief guest for closing ceremony and prize distribution ceremony, he started a warm up March to boost up the confidence among students ,teachers and the whole staff of Gurukul Vidyapeeth. Kailash Chand Sharma SO Khekra , chairman and principal distributed the medals and trophy to the students.
Wonderful day with amazing experience and lots of smiling faces by the winning students according to first second and third positions, The students were given a different medal gold silver and bronze accordingly.

Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is.
